Serving and the Gospel

Only, they asked us to remember the poor, the very thing I was eager to do. (Galatians 2:10 ESV)

When the apostle Paul was given the right hand of fellowship by the other apostles, they encouraged him not only to proclaim the Gospel but also to remember the poor along the way. And this makes sense—the two go hand in hand. Not only does God’s heart bend toward the poor with compassion, but practically speaking, when people—including those being served—see that you genuinely care, they become more open to hearing what you have to share.

We are seeking church partnerships to help us serve and share the Gospel. Providing sandwiches, coats, and other essentials is a simple yet powerful way to care for our neighbors in need—showing them love in a tangible way. These small acts of kindness can open the door to deeper relationships and, ultimately, we pray, to the life-transforming message of the Gospel of Grace.

ONOMA offers a meaningful opportunity for the Church to come together, live out its faith, and serve our neighbors with love. Churches of all sizes and generations can get involved and support this mission in impactful ways. We would love for your church to be part of it!
